Sync & backup
Account-free sync through your own cloud folder, one honest limitation, and plain-JSON export you can read without the app.
Sync is account-free by design. Pick any folder that your own cloud keeps in sync (iCloud Drive, Dropbox, Google Drive, Syncthing…) — each device writes only its own file there and merges everyone else’s. No server of ours, no account, no plaintext anywhere we can see.
Merging is by identity with last-writer-wins on edits; measured shots are never overwritten.
Known honest limitation: deletions don’t propagate between devices yet.
Send to a nearby device
When two devices are on the same Wi-Fi, you can hand your library straight from one to the other — no folder, no cloud, no account. One device picks Send, the other Receive; the receiver shows a 6-digit pairing code you type on the sender to confirm you’re talking to the right device. The connection is encrypted with a per-device certificate that’s pinned on first pairing, and the transfer is the same lossless export, merged on arrival. Nothing touches a server. With only one device present it simply shows a searching state.
Backup
- Export writes your complete library — loads, strings, every shot, firearms, calibrations, ammo, custom components — to a single dated JSON file.
- Import restores it (additively, with fresh identities).
- Share / AirDrop sends that same file device-to-device.
The file is plain, documented JSON: your data is yours, readable without this app.
