The terms you agree to by requesting access to, or using, the Vegan's Loadbook beta. In plain terms — the full end-user license agreement is being finalized and ships with the beta build.
These beta terms are being finalized with legal review. They govern access to a pre-release build; the complete EULA accompanies the download.
Beta, and free
Vegan's Loadbook is pre-release beta software, provided free of charge during the beta. It is incomplete, may change, and may be discontinued. If terms change when it leaves beta, you'll be told first.
Access is authorized, not open
Builds are distributed only to people we individually authorize (during the beta, by email). You may not share, redistribute, resell, or sublicense the software, or pass it to anyone who hasn't been authorized.
Eligible territories
You may download, install, and use the software only if you are located in, and a resident or citizen of, an eligible jurisdiction — Ukraine, the United States of America, or a NATO member country. Use from, in, or on behalf of anywhere else is not licensed. See who can use it.
Export control, sanctions, and prohibited use
You must comply with all applicable export-control and sanctions law, and you confirm you are not a sanctioned or restricted party. The software may not be used by or for the armed forces of the Russian Federation or Belarus, by anyone engaged in or supporting armed aggression against Ukraine, or for any unlawful purpose.
Not load data — safety
The software is a simulation and record-keeping tool. It is not load data; it never recommends a charge and never declares a load safe. Handloading is inherently dangerous — always work up from current published data, verify with your own chronograph, and follow the laws that apply to you. You alone are responsible for every round you load and fire.
As-is, no warranty, limited liability
The software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To that same extent, we are not liable for any damages — including injury, property damage, or lost data — arising from its use.
Your data
Local-first: your data stays on your device, and there's no account system for it. Your backups are your responsibility.
Trademarks; independence
Powder, bullet, cartridge, firearm, and chronograph names are trademarks of their respective owners. veg.tools and Vegan's Loadbook are independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any manufacturer.
